Beasley to Lakers Too?

Forward Michael Beasley.

Not only are the Lakers prepared to sign Wallace, but rumors say they are also in the market for enigmatic Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley. L.A. will reportedly part with a first round pick for the natural born scorer as they revamp their roster in hopes of making a big postseason push.

It's very simple for the Lakers to become contenders this year. 2 simple moves (1st round pick and trade exception) for Beasley. The next move they have to make is sending their other 1st round pick to CLE for Ramon Sessions. Sessions is a steal for a first round pick (averages 18pts 12assists in 36min of play)and at only 4mil base salary. The Cavs have to trade him before the 15th or he becomes a FA at the end of the year and they get nothing for him. Which is why a 1st round pick will get the job done. There's too many point guards in the league and none of them are on the Lakers roster. Lakers need to get with the program and make these simple moves. With, Bynum, Pau, Beasley, Bryant and Sessions running the point then we have a championship caliber team.

Will someone please take Wesley Johnson?!? Trading Beastley, yes Beastley, to the Lakers for a late first round pick is a smart move ... addition by subtraction for the Wolves ... giving the Lakers a headache for Brown to cope with. Good luck!

The Wolves need another 1st round pick like they need another hole in the head. Trade Beasley for a true SF or SG. Either one would work.
