‘Scary’ Cyborg Stripped!

Maybe it’s me, but something’s definitely wrong when a sports-loving dude, like me looks at a female MMA fighter – and actually gets scared!

First of all people – stop laughing!

Second …. If you’ve ever seen Cristiane Justino Santos, the 26-year-old Strikeforce women’s featherweight champion, better known as “Cyborg,” then you know she’s one scary looking dude … er, chick!

Anyway, Cyborg apparently is on the ‘juice’ after testing positive for the anabolic steroid Stanazolol, also known as Winstrol, on Dec. 16, the day before she knocked out Japan’s Hiroko Yamanaka, the No. 1 title contender, in an astonishing 16 seconds.

Now, the California State Athletic Commission is pissed and they’re not taking any crap – even from Cyborg. On Friday, the commission overturned Cyborg’s win and ruled it a no contest.

“Our primary concern is for the health and safety of fighters,” CSAC Executive Officer George Dodd said in a press release sent out on Friday.

“Anabolic agents and other banned substances put not only the users of those agents at risk, but their opponents as well. The commission simply will not tolerate their use.”

The press release said the commission received Cyborg’s test results on Dec. 23 from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) lab at UCLA.

According to UFC president Dana White, Santos has been stripped of her championship.

Now, maybe it’s me, but I’d be really scared if I were going to be the next woman in the ring with a pissed off Cyborg.
