Serena Silenced!

Maybe it’s me Eye On Sports tennis fans, but I swear the upper echelon WTA players are no longer nearly as scared of Serena as they used to be … and truth be told, why should they?

Williams – and her ailing sister Venus – are no longer the dominant, physically superior athletes they used to be – and in my estimation, the sisters’ lack of diversity to their respective games doesn’t help. No, you won’t see many slices or deft drop shots from the Williams sisters – and the power games they used to use to routinely overwhelm their mostly overmatched opponents is wearing down faster that an octogenarian with a bad back!
