The choke's on you! Reggie Miller says enough’s enough LeBron!

The choke's on you! - Former NBA superstar
Reggie Miller says it's time for LeBron James
to shut up and play!

Okay Eye On sports hoops fanatics, if you’ve ever read any of my prior newspaper columns, handicapping articles or blog posts, then you already know I am most certainly not the world’s biggest LeBron James fan.

Having said that, I am going on record to say how much I agree with former Indiana Pacers superstar Reggie Miller, who basically said James needs to grown up and win an NBA championship on his own after finding out that James was contacting former superstars like Hakeem Olajuwon, Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas in an effort to pick their championship-winning brains.

"This is one of the most physically gifted guys in our league," Miller said on TNT a few nights ago. "He left Cleveland, and he had every right to join one of the top five players in the league in Dwyane Wade along with Chris Bosh. Now he's reaching out to Hall of Famers to see what it takes to win? Enough is enough. Go out and actually do it on your own." ... James said he wasn't aware of Miller's comment, but that "it's good to have perspective from someone else's point of view" about the playoffs, "their championship runs, their playing days in general."
He may be able to fly all through the night, but
can LeBron James rock a party to the early light?

I agree with Miller, if James doesn’t know what it takes to win an NBA title at this stage of his career, then, not only is he still ‘cowardly’ in the game’s biggest moments, but he’s also a flaming idiot.

I mean, really, after being in the NBA eight years and playing on numerous title-contending teams, (like last season’s Heat squad) James is seeking advice on how to win an NBA championship from players that haven’t been in the league in over a decade. To me, that reeks of desperation – and a lack of basketball brain power.

I’m sorry, but once again, Reggie Miller is right. LeBron James really needs to grow up and figure things out on his own. Besides, as Miller correctly pointed out, James left his former team to join another top-five talent in Dwyane Wade – and the fact that he still can’t figure out how to win a title without seeking more help, speaks volumes as to what kind of leader LeBron James actually is.
