Westbrook whuppin’

Russell Westbrook could be the key to putting
Oklahoma City over the top in their
NBA Finals showdown against Miami

Despite being blessed with a boatload of athletic gifts and using those gifts to improve steadily over his four-year career, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook has taken more than his fair share of blame over the last couple of postseasons. Now, the blossoming Westbrook looks like he could. very well be the best point guard in the NBA, no offense to Chris Paul, Deron Williams or Rajon Rondo.

Lest anyone forget, not only has Westbrook raised his scoring average in each season, but the lightning-quick floor leader finished fifth in the league in scoring by averaging a stellar 23.6 points per contest.

Miami has absolutely no answer for the often electrifying high-flyer, (just like every other team in the league) and it’s clear that the emotional superstar could very well be the key to putting Oklahoma City over the top on this season’s NBA Finals.
