Oft-injured center Andrew Bogut 

will take his act from Milwaukee to Golden State.

Speaking of gambles and you’ve got to give the Golden State Warriors some credit! Either that or rip the team’s front office for taking one too many shots in the dark (probably the latter).

The team laid all of its eggs in Stephen Curry’s fragile basket after moving explosive combo guard Monta Ellis, but then they may have made a boo-boo by acquiring another player that just can’t seem to stay healthy in center Andrew Bogut, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft.

"We're extremely excited to acquire a player the caliber of Andrew Bogut, who we think is certainly one of the top centers in the NBA," Bucks general manager Larry Riley said on Tuesday.

The Golden State Warrior are now officially Stephen Curry’s team Eye On Sports NBA hoops junkies. Having said that roundball followers … it should also be noted that the Warriors are taking a bit of a gamble that Curry can stay healthy after battling repeated ankle injuries over the last couple of seasons.

Yes, Curry is one of the sweetest shooters on the face of the planet today, but what good is he if he misses 25 games a season?

to hold on to Monta Ellis long-term?

The Milwaukee Bucks traded former franchise center Andrew Bogut and disgruntled (what’s new?) veteran shooting guard Stephen Jackson to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night. In return, they get explosive scorer Monta Ellis as their centerpiece player, not to mention forward Ekpe Udoh and mediocre center Kwame Brown (really Milwaukee?) in the deal.

The Bucks finally parted ways with the oft-injured Bogut, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 while also moving an unhappy Jackson, but one question begs to be asked here Bucks fans. How long do you think Ellis will want to stay in mostly freezing Milwaukee after living in sunny California? Not long I suspect. Oh, and now it is the Bucks that will have a full-time ‘small’ backcourt with Ellis and starting point guard Brandon ‘Young Money’ Jennings.
